I love Robby!

He's my only brother and only sibling.

He's quite talented at everything he puts his mind too, like water skiing. He got up on the first try and stayed up for 15 minutes!

We have quite the age gap--12 years. When he was a baby people would tell me how cute my son was. It made me so mad.
We haven't really grown up together. I moved away to college when he started 1st grade and never moved home again. Nonetheless, when we're together he still pesters me and knows how to push my buttons on purpose! I love you, Robby!

I love Craig!

Marrying Craig (even though we were crazy young) was the absolute best decision I've ever made. I'm pretty sure we are complete opposites in every single way, but I can't imagine a better husband for me. He puts up with all my craziness and loves me unconditionally.

After 5 years of marriage and almost 7 years together, I love him more everyday!

February 7

I love Shelly. She was an awesome surprise from Craig. I must admit, I cried the day after Craig gave her to me because I assumed she would be just as much work as Lucy was as a puppy. I was so wrong. Shelly has been the easiest dog in the world! She potty trained her self really quickly and she slept through the night after two days of living with us!!! She rarely ever barks (unlike her very vocal sister) and when she wants something she gives a really cute grunt-whine.
We really have spent no time "training" her. She learned all her tricks from watching her big sister.
Shelly always looks you in the eye when you talk to her (Lucy never does). This is Shelly after her bee sting. Poor baby.
Shelly's nickname is Cuddle Bug. When she was really little she was always reluctant to cuddle with us, but then one day she became the biggest cuddle bug.
I love you, Shelly!

I Love Month

Even though I'm 5 days behind, celebrating "I Love Month" on my blog is a great way to reflect on things I love and a good blogging challenge for me since I'm a very inconsistent blogger.

I love my sweet Lucy. She is the most stubborn, opinionated, loud and ornery dog I have ever know, but she is also the most loving, loyal, cuddly and sweet dog.
She groans at us if we're keeping her up at night and demands to be spooned as soon as it's time for bed.

She's been arrested, taken in a cop car to jail (people jail, not the pound) and ran into the side of a car causing $3000 in damage to the car but not a scratch to herself putting me through a lot of emotional distress! She's one tough dog. And I could not love her more!

New Years Resolution

I know we are now a whole month into the new year (crazy!), but I have so far been successful in one of my resolutions. Bottled water. It's so convenient! The tap water at our house is gross (plus my dad works for the CA Water Service and always told me about the nasty things in tap water). I always recycle my bottles, so I haven't felt like it's that big of a deal. Whenever Craig acted annoyed with my bottled water habit, I just reminded him how much cheaper it is then beer which put an end to that! But...I have felt convicted about the BPA issue, how much money I really am spending on water, and how much recycling I am creating.

So I spent $26 on a Britta, $29 on more filters, and $10 on two aluminum bottles. So after my "start up" costs, I should be spending about $2.oo a month on filters, saving approximately $8-$10 a month on bottled water. Woohoo!
