Halloween Bark

My first time melting chocolate! I'm clearly in need of a double boiler. Or a least a bigger bowl so I stop burning my fingers while trying to stir!
Also, my first time using one of these! I think I could get into this.
The reason I need to go to the gym everyday this week!
I wish I could say this delicious concoction was all my idea, but it wasn't. Judy, from Sweet Wishes Parties came and taught a class at my school this week and this was one of her awesome creations!

Winter has arrived.

This is what we woke up to. It's October 12th by the way. And it's still falling.

I know my dogs are displaying bad behavior here, but look how sad they are. No swimming in the creek for another 8 months!

Depression hurts. Four months of summer to eight months of winter is not cool.

Under Construction

Our house has been under construction for almost a month now. It is starting to look beautiful! We've had a small set back, so I don't have finished pictures yet, but here are some pics to show what's happened so far! E-Z-Quote.com has done a fabulous job and I highly recommend them if you need siding, roofing or windows redone on your house!
New windows installed, old siding still on...ugly! Pop supervising!

I had Craig fill in the door to the garage which is right next to the front door and looked hideous! Craig liked the door. But it was so ugly and he never locked it, so I won and the door is gone!

New garage windows.

The non-English speaking super nice Russians making my house beautiful!

Siding, soffit, and facia starting to be put on! I never knew I could be so excited about soffit and facia! But do you see the difference??! Amazing!

Farmers Market

This morning Craig and I went to the Minneapolis Farmers Market for the first time. It was pretty much awesome! We got some bananas, zucchini, mushrooms, green beans and limes for $9! I splurged and got a beautiful bouquet of flowers for $5! All the gorgeous flowers gave me the idea that summertime brides should just buy all their flowers from the farmers market. You would save a ton of money! I think I spent $1200 for 6 people to have bouquets!

Gone Swimmin'

Robby and I spent Friday taking the dogs to their favorite swimming park. Swimming isn't really allowed, but there's never anyone there to say otherwise, and no one for the dogs to jump on so they can roam freely.
